A solar eclipse is going to go directly over us, here at LR. This is a once in a lifetime event and will be really cool! OCSU has called a half day for April 8th, which is the day of the eclipse. If you did not already know, a solar eclipse is when the moon covers up the sun, and in the NEK, it will be pretty much completely. The full solar eclipse will happen at 3:26 pm. Administration has bought viewing glasses for all students. DO NOT look at the sun without viewing glasses. Full solar eclipse will last for 3 minutes and 26 seconds. The last solar eclipse viewable in Vermont happened in 1932.
