The budget for the next academic year at LR passed. The final vote was 97-51, which is a much higher turnout than usual. The actual budget for the next fiscal year is $9,907,398. Although there was worries among teachers that this budget might fail because of some people in the region getting 20%+ tax increases on their land, it passed without any cuts which ensures that all programs being offered at LR will be able to stay.
