The varsity girls soccer team advances to the quarter finals after a 2-0 win against People’s Academy. Avery Hansen and and Indie Haney both scored in the win and freshman Nora Demaine got her first varsity shutout with 9 saves as a goalie. Coach Mary Farnsworth said that “I am proud of how composed and focused we came out to this playoff game. Everyone brought their A game, and the effort showed in our passing and creating opportunities as well as shutting our opponents down. People’s is a tough DIII, Capital League match-up in the regular season, and this game could have gone the other way. We look forward to the opportunity to keep playing.” The Lady Rangers are now getting ready to play Fair Haven on Saturday.
