Recently former president Joe Biden was diagnosed with a deadly form of Prostate Cancer. At his age, prostate cancer is unusual but is not unheard of. This form of Cancer is hormone sensitive, allowing for effective management. However, the cancer scored a Gleason score of nine, making it deadly. At Biden’s age, dealing with cancer is a particularly challenging. Biden’s wife, Jill Biden, made a statement saying, “we have learned that we are strongest in the broken places. Thank you for lifting us up with love and support.” Biden is currently at his home Delaware, where the family will discuss the situation further and proceed with treatment.
