The new NASA space station, designed to orbit the moon, is currently being constructed. Outfits for the space station, especially the Habitation and Logistics Outpost(HALO) module, are being developed by Northrup Grumman. The HALO module is designed for habitation and logistics, serving as the heart of the station. The HALO will provide living and working space for Artemis astronauts in the first manned lunar landing since 1972. Propellant lines and transfer lines are being installed to deliver heat and electricity to the module. The European Space Agency (ESA), a partner of NASA, is currently providing the communication for crew and robotic missions. Once assembled, the HALO module will be subjected to vacuum, shaking, acoustics, and shock testing. The cylindrical tank will be installed with three propulsion tanks and the first of three kilowatt thrusters.
