Take 5 Seared Tuna with Lime dipping sauce
Ingredients:
- 1 (12oz) package of frozen ahi tuna steaks
- 1 (8.8oz) package of whole grain brown rice
- 2 Green onions
- 2 tbsp soy sauce (also works with reduced sodium soy sauce)
- 2 tbsp lime juice
Directions:
- Grease a large pan and heat it on high.
- Season the tuna with salt and pepper then add it to the pan. Sear for 2-3 minutes on each side or until it has reached the desired doneness.
- Cook rice through package directions. Either stovetop or microwave works well.
- Thinly slice the green onions.
- In a small bowl mix together the soy sauce, lime juice, 1 tbsp water, and the sliced green onions.
- Thinly slice the tuna steaks and lay them over the rice. With the sauce either drizzled on top or kept as a dip.
