Jenssy: What is your name and what year do you graduate?
Madi: Madison Tinker, and I graduate in 2028 *nods*
Mackenzie: What has been your favorite class so far?
Madi: Mr. Fletcher’s Algebra 1 class. He made it fun. I learned a lot. Math classes at Orleans didn’t teach us as much.
Jenssy: How do you keep track of all of your assignments and deadlines?
Madi: Oh… My memory. I keep track of my school work and folders
Jenssy: Do you think you would ever need to change your way?
Madi: No, my system is amazing. I don’t need it any other way.
Mackenzie: What do you want to be after school?
Madi: I want to be a kindergarten teacher. I have five little sisters, and when I get to help them, it’s the best part of my day; I love helping them learn.
Jenssy: What has been your most challenging class or assignment so far?
Madi: Mr. Dam’s English class. It’s really confusing. We have been reading The Great Gatsby and it’s just confusing.
Mackenzie: What do you think makes a good person?
Madi: That’s an odd question. You can define a good person in a lot of ways. Are you a good person? I don’t like this question.
Jenssy: Are you involved in any clubs or sports?
Madi: Yeah, student council, cooking club and that’s it. I like to have a sight in the student body.
Jenssy: Do you feel involved in the school?
Madi: Yeah.
Mackenzie: If you could go back to talk to yourself before high school, what would you say?
Madi: I would say people change.
Mackenzie: What do you mean people change?
Madi: I don’t know, you just meet new people, and others don’t act like they used to.
Mackenzie: What’s your favorite Hamilton song?
Madi: Wait For It or the King’s songs. They’re just the greatest songs. In fact, I have a Hamilton shirt on.
Jenssy: If you were a tree, what would you be?
Madi: What kind of trees are there? I would be a Christmas tree because I love Christmas and winter.
Jenssy + Mackenzie: Thank you for your time!
