Zachary McCormick is a sophomore at Lake Region, who for two consecutive years has dyed himself his class color for Pep Rally, starting first a vibrant neon green, and having now turned into a bright neon pink. The LR Post interviewed him to learn more.
Ronan: What compelled you to be completely pink for Pep Rally?
Zach: It was a funny idea I did last year, so I figured, “What’s stopping me from doing it again this year?”
Ronan: Why did you exclude your hands from this ordeal?
Zach: If I dyed my hands it would have stained everything.
Ronan: How do you feel about this?
Zach: I feel pink.
Ronan: Who inspired you?
Zach: Neil dePink Tyson.
Ronan: How much of your body is colored pink?
Zach: The majority.
Ronan: What’s your favorite color?
Zach: Blue.
Ronan: Do you plan on doing this coloring thing for every pep rally?
Zach: Pink (Yes).
