Sweet Lemon Shrimp

  • ⅓ cup hoisin sauce

  • ¼ cup honey

  • ½ cup lemon juice (preferably freshly squeezed)

  • 1 ½ pounds shrimp (peeled and deveined)

  • Optional 2 tablespoons cilantro leaves (fresh)

  • Optional Salt and Pepper to taste.


  1. Whisk together hoisin sauce, lemon juice, and honey, as well as any salt and pepper added for taste. In a large bowl mix together the new mixture and the shrimp.

  2. Let your shrimp marinate anywhere from 30 minutes to overnight.

  3. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

  4. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.

  5. Place the shrimp on the baking sheet and discard the leftover marinade.

  6. Place shrimp into the oven for 6 to 8 minutes or until cooked through (The shrimp will be pink and firm).

  7. Serve immediately and garnish with cilantro if desired.
