On January 5th, the Lake Region boys’ varsity team faced off against Montpelier in an away game. In the first quarter, LR scored 12 points against Montpelier’s 29. Montpelier kept up the pressure in the second quarter, adding another 29 points while LR managed only 13. After halftime, LR put up 10 points compared to Montpelier’s 15. To close out the game, Montpelier sealed the win with 19 points to LR’s 14. Overall, Owen Rodgers led the team with 12 points, followed by Nicholas Robillard and Brenson Smits with 6 points each.
